As a journalist, I’m driven by the desire to inspire, educate and uncover the truth. I aim to connect the dots between issues shaping Melbourne’s culture, delving into the intersection of art, fashion, sustainability and popular culture. As a second-year student journalist at RMIT, I’m building a portfolio that reflects my commitment to engaging storytelling, sharing the stories and voices often overlooked.
Over the past 2 years, I've developed hands-on experience across multiple platforms. I've contributed writing to the Swanston Gazette, where I've covered current issues. I’ve been co-executive producer for Newsline’s Round Up, where I helped manage a team and approve the final script, video and audio. I've also produced a podcast episode, which taught me the nuances of audio storytelling. My Year 10 internship at Sneaker Freaker sparked my interest in journalism and gave me insight into newsroom dynamics.
Currently, I’m looking to expand my skill set, and bring my curiosity and drive to an internship where I can learn from experienced journalists, writing stories that define fashion, arts and sustainability.
